On the morning of June 9, 2021, Electrical and Instrument Department of ECEC, together with Wuhu Road Sub-district, Baohe District, carried out the activity of Care for Environmental Sanitation Workers on the Volunteer Service Plaza of Yinhe Community to send warmth and blessings to the front-line environmental sanitation workers who silently stuck to their posts. High respect and care has been extended to the ordinary and great workers. While distributing the prepared living materials to the sanitation workers, the volunteers told them to pay attention to safety at all times in their work, and thanked them for their tireless efforts and dedication in guarding the clean environment of the city.

On the afternoon of June 4, 2021, ECEC organized young volunteers to leave for 168 Rose Garden Primary School to carry out the activity of “Youth Volunteer Travel with Environmental Protection in Classroom Teaching“. With “the world’s Environmental Day and Saving Water Resources” as the theme, the activity propagated knowledge of environmental protection to the primary school pupils by means of environmental protection lectures and award winning competition, etc. The Company’s environmental protection volunteers gave detailed introduction to water resource status on the earth with help of their professional advantages in the form of PPT and small videos from the perspective of the World’s Environmental Day, water’s Journey and saving water. Moreover, they recommended some water saving measures in daily life.

On the afternoon of June 1, 2021, ECEC organized young volunteers to leave for “Mask Angel • Halfway Dormitory” to initiate the activity for “accompanying angels out of trouble”. On the day of the activity, the volunteers sent over gifts - bubble toys for Children’s Day to the children who had expected for long. They hoped that the children could have their own colorful life as they could blow colored bubbles. Meanwhile, the volunteers purchased drip irrigation systems and shading nets in advance for children’s mini farms, and was busy in mounting the “protective hoods” for mini farms on the Children’s Day. They gave children extraordinary gifts expecting the vegetable the children planted could grow well.

On March 27, 2021, the first stop of the activity for “Youth Volunteer Travel - I Do Something Practical for the General Public” of the Volunteer Service Team from ECEC was the Volunteer Service Plaza, Nanyuan New Village, Wuhu Road Sub-district, Baohe District, Hefei, Anhui Province. With the 29th “World Water Day” and “Treasure and Care of Water” as the theme, the activity propagated to the residents of the community the world’s water source protection and daily water saving knowledge by means of hanging public good posters, on-site professional explanation, intelligence answers winning awards, etc.

In mid-December, 2020, volunteers from Equipment Office of ECEC went to Fangcaodi Disabled Children’s Rehabilitation Center, where they visited a group of special but lovely little angels -- hearing impaired children, to give the children life and school supplies as well as their blessing and supported the sky of care for them.
