On November 25th, CNCEC-ECEC East China Engineering Science and Technology Co., Ltd. (ECEC) of China National Chemical Engineering Group Corporation (CNCEC) formally signed the EPC contract for the “In-depth technology investment, improving the quality of phosphoric acid and producing MAP fertilizer with a capacity of 60,000 tons/year” Project with DAP-Vinachem Joint Stock Company of Vietnam National Chemical Group (VINACHEM). This marks another significant breakthrough for the company in implementing the "T+EPC" model and strengthening technology-led engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contracting. Adopting CNCEC-ECEC's own technologies and equipment from China, the project represents the first industrial application of producing MAP fertilizer from phosphogypsum acid in the Vietnamese market, delivering substantial environmental and economic benefits.

On February 11th, Jordan, CNCEC-ECEC officially signed an EPC contract for the 900KTPA sulfuric acid project with Indo-Jordan Chemicals Company Ltd(IJC), a subsidiary of Jordan Phosphate Mines Company (JPMC).As a national major project in Jordan, the project will be implemented in line with high international technical, engineering and environmental standards. CNCEC-ECEC undertakes the EPC work of the project. The sulfuric acid produced at the new facility will be used to support the expansion of owner’s phosphoric acid production from 330KTPA to 550KTPA, thus effectively enhancing its product supply in the international market.Upon completion, the project will significantly increase the added value of the local phosphate industry, create a large number of job opportunities, and become a demonstration project for industrial cooperation between Chinese and Jordanian enterprises.

On October 16th, Meng Chenzhou, General Manager of CNCEC-ECEC, met with Bonucci Paolo, Global Commercial Director of Casale, a world famous Swiss technology service provider in the energy and chemical industry.During the meeting, CNCEC-ECEC and Casale exchanged views on deepening cooperation, which enhancing mutual understanding and recognition. Also, both companies stated that they would take this exchange as an opportunity to join hands in exploring the global energy and chemical market, and build a win-win cooperative partnership.
