Recently, CNCEC-ECEC East China Engineering Science and Technology Co., Ltd. (ECEC) of China National Chemical Engineering Group Corporation (CNCEC) officially signed contract for ASEAN Potash Mining Project with ASEAN Potash Chaiyaphum Public Company Limited (APOT). This contract signing marks another significant milestone in CNCEC and its subsidiaries actively implementing the “going global” strategy and deepening their expansion into overseas engineering markets. It also represents a major achievement in the innovative practice of the “T+EPC” model. The project includes facilities for producing 1,235 kt/a potassium chloride and 400kt/a sodium chloride, along with supporting utilities and auxiliaries. Upon project completion, it will address Thailand's domestic potash fertilizer market gap and reduce the country's agricultural reliance on imported fertilizers.
