On December 26, 2019, the 600kt/a Sulfuric Acid project and 400kt/a TSP (triple superphosphate) project in Tunisia general contracted by East China Engineering Science and Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as ECEC) had the mechanical completion signing ceremony on the construction site in Gafsa, Tunisia. Wang Wenbin, the Chinese ambassador in Tunisia and Zhang Fengling, commercial counselor, Mr. Abderrazak OUANASSI, president of Groupe Chimique Tunisien and Cui Congquan, the general manager of ECEC are presented at the construction site.

The successful mechanical completion of the GCT sulfuric acid and TSP project marked a major breakthrough in the ability of ECEC to execute overseas projects and laid a solid foundation for the company to expand its operations in the Tunisian and North African markets.
