Recently, CNCEC East China Engineering Science and Technology Co., Ltd. (ECEC for short) held a kick-off meeting for some units of the Sonangol Lobito Refinery Project. ECEC management who attended the meeting affirmed the preliminary work achievements of the project, and instructed the project team to work closely, tackle challenges actively so as to ensure a smooth implementation of the project, and win a good international reputation and market position for CNCEC ECEC.

Sonangol Lobito Refinery Project is the first full process crude oil refining project undertaken by China National Chemical Engineering Group Corporation Ltd.(CNCEC), which is jointly constructed by various affiliated companies. The project is located in Lobito, Benguela Province, Angola, with an annual processing capacity of 10 million tons of crude oil. The project is a national key strategic project in Angola, which is of great significance for ensuring energy security, accelerating the pace of industrialization and promoting economic and social development of Angola.
