On April 19, 2019, East China Engineering Science and Technology Co., Ltd. signed the PC/PMC general contracting contract of integrated exhaust gas based 300kt/a ethylene glycol and cogeneration of LNG project with Shanxi Meijin Huasheng Chemical New Material Co., Ltd. Upon completion of the project, it will mitigate the pollution of coking exhaust gas to air and reduce smog in the area. Furthermore, it will produce ethylene glycol products, which will have prominent environmental, economic and social benefits.
