In mid-September, 2020, the consortium formed by East China Engineering Science and Technology Co., Ltd. and Middle East Company of China Chemical Engineering Group were awarded with the design, procurement, construction and commissioning (EPCC) of Phase I 600kt/a Methanol Project of ESPC Petrochemicals of Ruwais Industrial Center of Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), UAE. The Contract amount is 394 million (USD).

This is a new breakthrough of East China Engineering Science and Technology Co., Ltd. in the market development in the Middle East Region, which has further consolidated the advantageous position of the natural gas chemical industry of the company, and laid a solid foundation for further cooperation with CNCEC Middle East Company for future projects.
